Help us build a sustainable community!

It's National Recycling Week from 13 to 19 November, so what better time to share how you can join us in building a greener, more connected community.

Sewing for sustainability:

We've teamed up with DIVRS and Boomerang Bags Fairfield to combat plastic waste. Join our Monday sewing sessions (2 to 3:30 pm) to create reusable shopping, veggie and bread bags for our free Fresh Food program. If you can't make it on Mondays, grab a take-home bag-making kit.

Help us feed the worms:

We need your grass clippings to fuel our community compost. Don't throw them away when you mow the lawn – even a small contribution helps grow delicious veggies for our Fresh Food program. Simply pick up an empty compost bucket near the front door and return it full. It's that easy!

Share, swap and connect:

Enjoy our free book library, toy exchange, seed library and plant swap. These fantastic initiatives promote sustainability and community spirit.

To learn more about any of these initiatives, please get in touch with us today.
